  "I met my wonderful wife here!

  I was a Deadhead, and there was a bumper sticker back in the day that said, "Jerry's Dead Get a Job"—so I did. I had no idea I'd be working here this long. I have been lucky to have a job I enjoyed for 20-plus years.

  I also used to say I've never met a student I didn't like... that is still true to this day. There is nothing quite like a young adult moving from home to go to college. What a wonderful time to sharein their lives.

  I'll always miss old Kresge, hopefully, the next stage will bring some of it back.”
